*Check your child's agenda for updates or individual notes. Your child is expected to complete his/her agenda daily.
*Important papers come home each Thursday - please check your child's Thursday folder & sign the update card.
*3rd quarter progress reports will be sent home on February 14 & will include all work collected until February 7.
*Did you see your child's data results in last Thursday's folder showing the progress made toward the end of year measures for both the reading and math inventory assessments? I'm looking for a parent's signature on the update card.
**Remember tennis shoes are required for PE! Shoes should be worn to school as our transition time is very short.

*Independent reading: Click here for copies of the Eagle Reader forms that have been updated for 2nd semester. The 5 point (any combination of 5 fiction and/or 5 non-fiction) deadline is February 7. The Eagle Reader grade will be included in the progress report.
I was thrilled with the progress on the geography unit! Our focus this week is how life changed in America at the turn of the 20th century. Specifically we will look at the changes in the lives of Native Americans, population growth and the Spanish American War. We are continuing to build our notebooks as a student resource.
