We are in for an extra-special week with many VIP's visiting our school on Friday, September 4. In honor of our recognition of being a Green Ribbon School, please wear green on Friday!
ELA classes will continue to integrate science and social studies into reading. Remember, your child does have a minimum of 20 minutes each night of reading as homework. We are working on building our reading stamina!
In today's folder please see information about the CCSD Performing Arts. Please note this is a required form for our students to participate in any Performing Arts activity including the field trip to the symphony in December. Please sign and return with your child.
What an amazing week we are having! Our open house was quite crowded on Tuesday night. The teachers would like to thank you for your support as we continue through this year.
It's the beginning of the new school year and it's hard to believe how fast the first few days have passed! Our classes have spent the first few days working procedures, expectations and building a community.
We just wanted to let you know we are looking forward to a SUPER year!!! Can't wait to get started tomorrow.
As you prepare for the day, think about how you are going to make this your best year yet.
Also, please note, we do have students with severe food allergies. Please be very careful with selecting snacks (especially with peanuts) and washing up before you get on the bus. We will talk more about this tomorrow.
See you in the AM!
5B Teachers will update this site throughout the year with important events.
